No one has really hurt me recently. Not enough for me to write a letter to them anyway. To me, that's kind of a big deal, and I'm one who would rather tell someone to their face than write a letter via the world wide web. I'd rather write them a letter that they'd never see. So I can get allllll my feelings out. Then I'd go talk to them about whatever it was they did to hurt me. So I have no letter for anyone.
But I will tell you guys about my weekend. :)
I left on Friday for SLC with Mellie, and spent my Friday night with Jake. It was so so good to see him! I missed him so much. We walked to Cafe Rio at like 10 pm (when it closes!) and the sweet lady that worked there let us in even though they were already closed! As always, the pork salad was divine. But afterwards we went back to his place and just talked (and stuff). Spending as much time as possible together since I was leaving the next day and neither of us know when we'll see each other next. It's tragic, I know. (Thank goodness for skype!) We watched this craaazy movie though. I'll spare you the details, but just take my word for it and NEVER see The Human Centipede. Haha. It's terrible. However, do watch Bones as much as possible. Anyway, it was a realllly really great night. We had a lot of fun together. And I miss him. A LOT. :)
Next day, I went with Melanie and some friends to SLC to shop and eat. And so I could catch my flight. I made the mistake of eating Sbarro pizza--I had been craving pizza all week, so I decided to get my fix. Bad choice. It was awful. But I did find some awesome deals at PacSun. Over the summer, I went to one in Denver with Mel, and found this super cute lace tank top. It was kinda pricey and I wanted to get other things instead, so I didn't buy it. And I really regretted it. But we went in there over the weekend and I found the same tank for only 7 bucks! Of course I bought it. And some nail polish. And a ring and some earrings. :) So happy. I also found some film for my fisheye camera at Urban Outfitters. But I didn't buy it. It was really pricey. 18 bucks for 3 rolls of redscale negative. That's pretty much how it ran for all the films, too. So I'm going to shop around a little more. I called my friend Spencer, who is a brilliant photographer by the way, and he gave me advice on it. He is, after all, the one who gave me my first lomo camera. :) He is the best. Seriously.
So after my adventures at the mall, we headed to the airport. I was so exhausted at this point because of lack of sleep, I kind of had a hard time carrying my luggage around. I figured I would crash on the plane, but noooo.... obnoxious loud kids in every direction. No sleep for me. So I watched one of the greatest shows on earth instead.
But my computer died because the kid next to me just had to charge his itouch. Keep in mind this kid was under 12. And he had a freakin droid. NBD! Ridiculous. Kids today. I swear.
Anyway, that was my weekend pretty much. Since being home, I've just been spending time with family. Waiting anxiously for my brother's return! :) I can't wait.
